Since 2024, TU Dresden’s Diversity Management department has published an annual postcard calendar that highlights female scientists as trailblazers and celebrates their work. The calendar features twelve designs showcasing portraits of the honored women; thanks to perforations, the individual pages can be detached and used as postcards.
Our studio was commissioned to design the calendar scheduled for 2026. To this end, we created analog photo collages, each reflecting the scientific context of the featured researchers and establishing a visual link to their specific field of expertise.
The honored women featured in the calendar, along with their respective fields of research, are:
Dr. Chiara Löffler (Medicine), Dr. Natalia Rodríguez-Muela (Neuroscience), Dr. Rita Mateus (Developmental Biology), Prof. Dr. Miki Ebisuya (Biophysics), Dr. Ekaterina Vorobevskaia (Molecular Biology and Biophysics), Dr. Anne Gärtner (Psychology), Dr. Annika Konrad (Psychology and Neuroscience), Dr.-Ing. Cornelia Sennewald (Textile Machinery and High-Performance Textile Materials Technology), Dr. Elisabeth Ansel (Art History), Prof. Dr. Yana Vaynzof (Novel Electronic Technologies), M.Sc. Fanny Reichmayr (Electrochemistry), Dr. Hannah Muti (Medicine)
